After more than three decades in education, I know that every student's path looks a little different.
I have been an educator since 1992, beginning my career as a math teacher at Lake Brantley High School. After earning my master's degree in school counseling, I worked as a school counselor at Lake Orienta Elementary School before returning to the high school setting in 2008 at Bishop Moore Catholic High School. I began there as a school counselor and later became Director of Guidance.
During my years at Bishop Moore, I loved helping students explore their post-secondary options, think through fit, complete applications, and celebrate those exciting next steps, whether that meant a college acceptance, a scholarship opportunity, or a job offer. That work eventually led me to open College & Career Pathfinder.
My background in schools helps me understand transcripts, course planning, counselor systems, recommendation processes, application timelines, and the pressures students face. My work as an IEC allows me to give families more personalized time, structure, and support than most school counseling offices are able to provide.
As a Professional Member of IECA and someone who has personally visited more than 100 college campuses, I combine professional experience, firsthand campus knowledge, and personalized guidance to help students and families navigate the college search and application process with more organization, direction, and confidence.
I help students and families turn the college planning process from overwhelming to organized.
